Addition by Subtraction....

By getting rid of some old stuff....and then looking through all my Pops' sheds full of cool antique stuff....this is what we have added to the house so far. Also, we finally splurged and bought a new comforter and bedsheets for the master and guest beds. Check it out.....

bought a new lamp at Bed Bath & Beyond to lighten up the room a little.....my TV is almost as old as the antique washstand its sitting on top of
Phew! the most money I will ever spend for something I sleep on....

Antique dresser with a handmade ceramic bowl!
I just had to put this frame up in the house...gotta commemorate the occasion!

below is a cool marble lamp I found in one of the sheds along with another handmade bowl

the Church in the picture below is First Prez of Augusta, where my brother and his family are members. The plane is made out of scrap metal and screws. It all sits on the Antique Secretary's Desk I bought in Monroe

the Guest Bed is covered in a Duvet that I bought at a Yard Sale for 30 Bucks....

Make Way for J-Mo......

As I prepare to become one with Jenny Moyers...this also means I need to prepare my house for Jenny Moyers. I am not the biggest shopper, matter of fact I hate shopping with a bloody passion, but for some reason I have a lot of clothes. I think it is because I simply save all my clothes....they dont have their own seasons or the ability to go out of style. If they begin to look dumb on me I just stow it away until its cool again. With all that being said, I have been downsizing my closets to make way for my wifey... she will actually be wifey next Saturday...June 20th! We both cannot wait! Here are some pics of my attempts to liquidate half of everything! Oh and a few pics of the painting updates....hopefully tomorrow we will be done with everything,....however I am getting the itch to go ahead and paint the master bedroom while we're at it. We will see......

Before.......more progress.......

Jenny and I will be getting married in less than two weeks!.....and before our life together begins, we decided to cram in one last project. We are going to paint the guest bedroom, bathroom, the main hallway, and the front door. We have emptied out all the spaces, sanded the walls down, and removed unnecessary vents and lightswitches. It is now time to paint....wish us luck....
BEFORE:

The AFTER pictures will hopefully soon be up........

PROGRESS.........

MORE PROGRESS..........

We added some white on the baseboards....it needs a second coat, so don't judge us yet! Oh, and the hallway is now PEACH, instead of smudgy white! I took the pictures while it was pitch black outside, so the random weird lines on the blue walls in some of the pics are only a figment of your imagination.....seriously I dont know why they are there.....
